'Bodog Entertainment' is an online gambling,
music and entertainment company, headquartered in Antigua. Bodog
maintains an online sportsbook and racebook, an online casino and an
online poker room. The company was founded in 1994 by Calvin Ayre.
Bodog chose to continue to serve U.S. players after the U.S.
government passed the Unlawful Internet Gambling and Enforcement
Act. Due to a court judgement, Bodog "temporarily" lost control of
the Bodog.com URL. They moved operations to a new URL, newbodog.com.
On September 19, 2007, Bodog transferred their domain from
NewBodog.com to BodogLife.com, which is their actual domain. |

sports and markets. Asian handicap lines (sides and totals) are
operated on the low 5 % margin, which is a fair deal. Odds are
pretty stable, not moving too much and often. Standard time of
release is 4-5 days before the events, even earlier for bigger
markets, but a bit slower for smaller ones. Bodog offers better odds
on favourites overall, usually around the top of the respective
markets.

Customers have two options for accessing Bodog's
casino: downloading and installing the casino client (stand-alone
application) or playing directly in their browsers. All major
categories of casino games are offered: card and table games, video
slots and video poker, progressives, etc. Bodog's poker client
offers Texas Hold'em (Fixed, Pot and No Limit), Omaha and Stud
poker. You can play at cash ring tables, sit'n'go tables and many
tournaments (including Bodog's famous freerolls). It's easy to find
more than enough opponents for every preferred game and limit,
action is running 24 hours per day. Poker and casino games can be
played only for fun too, with 'play' money.

BETTING PROCEDURE |
Betting menu is situated in the left side of the
page, organized on drop-down principle. The menu structure is
intuitive and you will easily find any market and sport, although a
'bet-search' button is missing. The bet slip appears on top of the
selected markets after adding 1 or more selection(s) to it. Multiple
selections on the slip can be used in one straight accumulator bet
(or a teaser for US sports), unfortunately more complicated systems
aren't available. One additional spread line is available for main
US sports on the bet slip, it's usually half a point (this
additional line can be seen only on the bet slip). After selecting
your bet type, you have to confirm your bet and amount wager. The
final step is a bet review page. Overall the whole procedure is very
intuitive and secure, although a bit slower because of the
confirmation steps.
